An unforgettable learning experience for front-line nurses
Wound Expo offers free, interactive education for nurses in the fundamental aspects of wound care. It aims to help front-line nurses strengthen their core skills and inspire better wound care practice.
Delivering six bespoke, therapy-specific zones led by expert educators and key opinion leaders this event will provide high quality learning outcomes. Interactive sessions will take a step-by-step approach to evidence-based management, using case presentations to provide nurses with practical knowledge to take back to the workplace.
Each education zone will feature an expert in wound care leading an interactive session that brings one key area of wound care to life. Sessions will be repeated throughout the day, so you will be able to participate in five of the zones per day.
The CPD certified educational content of the event will be supported by a major exhibition featuring the leading companies in wound care. Participants will have ample opportunity to discuss their products with them and explore further the issues discussed in the education zones.
So whether you are a healthcare assistant or a staff nurse looking to improve your fundamental wound care skills, or a tissue viability specialist who wants to improve training in your trust, Wound Expo will have something for you.
Wound Expo is designed to meet the educational needs of all professions involved in wound care and tissue viability. By focusing on the discussion of case studies and hands-on, practical demonstrations in key clinical areas, there is something that everyone will be able to take back to their day to day practice.

Wound Expo provides an interactive learning experience focused specifically on the needs of all professionals involved in tissue viability and wound care.
Wound Expo will enable you to learn in an intimate classroom environment, interacting with a small group of peers and colleagues. It will be unlike other large conferences which provide a series of lectures in large halls full of many different professionals.
Each 45 minute session will have a maximum of 40 participants, and will be structured to enable discussion and feedback to maximise your learning outcomes.
Each session will be led by a clinical expert in the field. Speakers will present focused information on the latest developments in clinical practice, as well as a selection of patient case studies which will give you the opportunity to talk through the options for care for a particular patient with your peers, and run through the pros and cons with key opinion leaders in each clinical field.
This approach will enable you more easily to ask questions you might have, and discuss your questions fully with colleagues and peers in a non-intimidating environment. It will also give you a chance to participate in hands on demonstrations and group work.
The content will be focused on questions that are important to nursing in wound care so that you will be able to take everything you learn back to your workplace and apply it to your day to day work with patients.
Coupled with a vibrant exhibition, showcasing the latest developments in treatment and support for patients, Wound Expo is the educational event for tissue viability professionals.
